That's why we make our courses accessible to all and run webinars for those who want to deepen their understanding of the subject matter. Meet the Team

ART STORIE is a group of passionate art history experts, made up of art lovers from across the globe.

The team is made up of individuals who are dedicated to spreading knowledge and appreciation for art. We believe that art is one of the most important expressions of human creativity, and we are committed to promoting it in all its forms.

Yulia | Co-Founder

I originally studied business and management but I was always passionate about art. I studied Asian Art at the V&A and afterwards History of Art at the Open University.

My interests are diverse and include Northern Renaissance, Dutch Art and Pre-Raphaelite. I am currently focused in my research on British Art produced just before and during the First World War.

Elizabeth | Co-Founder

I am an artist and an art teacher. I graduated from Central St Martins with a degree in Fine Art. My visual art primarily focuses on figurative painting. I combine classical and contemporary painting techniques to create emotive and psychological artworks. I am interested in artwork that explores a personal, bodily subject matter. I look for story telling in artwork. My speciality is in contemporary female artists, but I also have a deep love for Northern Renaissance Art.

Marco

I studied Art history at La Sapienza University in Rome, afterwards I moved to UK where spent almost 6 years working in museum's environment. Now I am working in a private gallery meanwhile studying a Postgraduate degree at Alma Mater Studiorum University in Bologna. I am passionate about history and art in general, and I love discovering constantly new subjects, movements or artists.

Flavia

I am an art historian specialised in Medieval Art history of the Eastern Mediterranean. I have got my MA in Art History from La Sapienza University, Rome (2015) and my PhD in Byzantine Studies at the University of Birmingham (2021). I have held research fellowships at Dumbarton Oaks – Harvard University (2019-20), the British School at Athens (2022-23), and support from the Mary Jaharis Center for Byzantine Art (2021).

My research interests are the manipulation of light in churches, the perception of materials and the arts in the Middle Ages, artisans' working conditions and education, and visual and cultural exchanges in the Adriatic Sea.

Elania

My name is Elania and I am an Italian art historian, specialising in works on paper. I have got my BA and MA cum laude in History of Modern Art (c.1400-1800) from the University of Rome La Sapienza and I am currently based in the UK. My research interests include 18th and 19th British works on paper, the long sixteenth century, the use and materials of watercolour, the history of collecting and the relationships between Italy and England in the 18th century.
